Presenter: Bernward Bücheler of Sustainable Building Resources
Bernward will explain what is meant by Passivhaus and the standard it sets for energy efficient building design. He’ll give an overview of his company’s services and details of products he supplies and uses including: cross laminated timber, Glulam, Hebel, Gutex timber fibre and Passivhaus standard windows and doors. He’ll illustrate this with case studies of how he’s used them and what’s giving good results in the local market.
ATA meetings put people with questions in touch with people who might have answers. The Q&A session after the main presentation is an open discussion about sustainability topics. For example:
- Who can help with an issue?
- What’s on in other parts of Adelaide, SA and Australia.
- Any events you’ve been to and what you’ve learned.
- What presentations or field trips would you’d like?
Minutes from the meeting are available here.
