Engineering Professor Celestino Ruivo is a solar cooking authority from Portugal. He is currently in Australia doing research at CSIRO in Newcastle and is coming to Brisbane. He says he has been “contaminated with the solar cooking virus” and is keen to conduct an informal workshop and share with solar enthusiasts in Brisbane. He will be bringing along a number of his original cookers and weather permitting we will be cooking up a storm while listening to his experiences with solar cooking around the world.
A light lunch will be provided supplemented by any solar cooking we may achieve.
