Presentation: Beth Worrall of Buddy Platform: Building monitoring for energy efficiency
Buddy Platform manufactures systems for monitoring building electrical-gas-water consumption and performance data. Although they are geared to commercial situations, Buddy's network-based sensors and central displays are suitable for residential applications that require more comprehensive monitoring and analysis than typical single point units provide.
Beth's presentation will include the following:
- Overview of Buddy Platform's products and what the company does
- Sensor types for monitoring particular parameters
- Monitoring system case studies
- Installation - professional or DIY
- Overview of smart buildings and smart cities
- Overview of Internet of Things.
