Description:

When: Thursday 24 May 2018, 7:15pm for 7:30pm start

Presentation: Super Capacitors are about to come onto the market with some grand claims, but are all these claims true? There hasn't been a lot of real world testing. Come along and hear about the advantages and disadvantages of supercapacitor technology and how it compares to existing battery systems.

Speaker: Ian Gittus is a Solar Specialist with UV Power. With a background in Energy Auditing, environmental advocacy and running The Greens for a few years, Ian formed Solaris Solar Energy and UV Power. Based in West Brisbane we have sold over 3000 Solar PV systems and Energy Audtted over 1500 homes and businesses since 2009.
Ian has a passion for renewable energy and believes the next frontier for household energy management is automation and storage. We now have the technology to automate our homes to consume energy from the sun when no-one is home. Reducing carbon emission and costs.

We hope to see you there.
