At the next meeting of the Alternative Technology Association's (ATA) Melbourne Branch, Travis Hughes will speak about the challenges presented to the energy industry by the transition to renewable energy, including variable power levels and distributed generation.
This will be a fascinating topic that will inform us about the practical difficulties 21st-century energy generation places in a complex distribution system built in the last century to work with centralised fossil-fuel technology.
Please feel free to invite friends and colleagues - our meetings are open to ATA members and guests. We look forward to seeing you there!
