This month Paul Patton (branch convener) covers using used laptop batteries to build home batteries and how testing enables building of batteries using the best cells available.

Paul will be bringing along some of the equipment he uses for testing as well as parts that are used for assembly.

Paul has 5 years experience in building batteries for e-bikes and scooters out of cells from laptop and power tool batteries. He now brings that experience to the building of batteries for home solar systems.
