When: Monday 6 November 2017, 7.30 pm
Where: The Duke of Welllington Hotel, 192 Macquarie Street, Hobart
Cost: Free
Presentation: Blade Pile Victoria.
Blade piles are an advanced form of helical or 'screw pile' footings, that allow concrete floor slabs to be designed without edge beams for easier slab insulation.
They can also be used for the more economic installation of concrete slabs on steep sites, or problem sites such as those with reactive clay or loose sandy soils.
Blade Pile Victoria will also provide some pictures and information on how screw piles are being used in solar farm installations.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
