ATA Wollongong branch meeting - How eBikes and Bike Share Systems are Revolutionising Transport

When: Thursday 4 May 2017, 6:30pm for refreshments and a chat - then talks start at 7:00pm. Question time at 7:45pm

Where: UOW Innovation Campus (Squires Way, North Wollongong) - ITAMS Building, building 233, room G01.

Parking is free from 6:30 in P1 (near Science Centre) or P5 (south of Building 233)

Cost: A gold coin donation to cover refreshments would be appreciated.

Presentation: “How eBikes and Bike Share Systems are Revolutionising Transport”

Presented by our local expert Phil Latz. Phil has been actively involved in cycling since the age of 10, first as a racer, then for 25 years as the founder and director of Bicycling Australia, a cycling media company that publishes a range of cycling magazines, books and websites.  Amongst a lifetime of cycling activity, Phil has also founded successful charity bike rides including the Ride Around the Lake, co-founded the Cycling Promotion Fund, authored ‘Phil’s Bicycle Book’, published “Where to Bike” books in the USA, and has spoken about cycling through a wide range of cycling conferences and media both within Australia and overseas.
