Melbourne Electric Vehicle Expo, 16 October 2016

The ATA warmly invites you to be part of our Electric Vehicle Expo (#EVExpo2016 ).

What is the Electric Vehicle Expo?

The Expo will be a one-day event presented jointly by the Alternative Technology Association, Swinburne University and Boroondara Council. The expo will be a family friendly, relaxed and informative day exploring and showcasing Melbourne’s electric transport options, with a particular emphasis on electric bicycles.

When: Sunday 16 October 2016

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Travelling by train: Take the train to Glenferrie station (Belgrave, Lilydale or Alamein lines). Then it’s about a 100m walk to the Expo. Use the Google map link above.

Travelling by tram: The closest tram stop is ‘Burwood Rd’ Stop #73 on Route 16 ‘Melbourne University – Kew via St Kilda Beach’. This will bring you to the corner of Glenferrie Rd and Burwood Rd. Walk East along Burwood Rd to the Expo (about 200m).

Travelling by car: Best spot for car parking is down Kent street off Burwood Rd (across the road from EN building).

The Expo will include up to 30 stalls, demonstrations, speakers and panel discussions relating to all modes of electric transport. You can download the guide map to the Expo stalls here.

There will also be a “Show & Shine” display where you can show off your electric bike, car, motorbike or scooter (or other electric vehicle). There will be prizes for the Most Attractive Vehicle, Best Workmanship,  (conversions only) and Best Concept. You can see an example of the Show & Shine scorecard here. Please note the Show & Shine display is not for commercial promotion. If you have a business product that you would like to showcase then please use the ‘Stall Holder’ entry form.
